Chief External Affairs Officer

Position Location: Flexible within the continental U.S.
Salary range: $180,000 – $220,000 (based upon experience and skill)

As we scale our work and impact, we are seeking a strategic and creative Chief External Affairs Officer (CEAO) to shape and steward our brand, elevate our public voice, and expand our influence. The (CEAO) is a senior executive who will lead Camelback’s policy agenda, brand, communications, marketing, and public presence strategy. This person will be the primary architect of Camelback’s external voice, responsible for crafting compelling narratives, driving digital and media engagement, positioning the CEO and organization as national thought leaders in social impact investing, and expanding Camelback’s visibility across sectors.

Reporting to the CEO and in partnership with the Chief Development Officer, the CEAO will ensure that Camelback’s storytelling is strategic, values-aligned, and supportive of fundraising and partnerships—but will not lead direct fundraising efforts.

The CEAO manages a dynamic team of full-time staff, including the VP of Marketing and Communications and Digital Marketing and Communications Manager and contractors to execute campaigns and initiatives to drive engagement and meet strategic goals.

Development Manager

Position Location: Flexible within the continental U.S.
Salary range: $90,000- $110,000 (based upon experience and skill)

As Camelback Ventures enters its next decade of growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and entrepreneurial Development Manager to help drive our ambitious fundraising goals and strengthen the systems that sustain our mission. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Development Manager will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the infrastructure, relationships, and data practices that power Camelback’s development strategy.

The Manager will oversee donor pipeline management, stewardship, and sponsorship operations, ensuring that every aspect of Camelback’s fundraising is efficient, data-informed, and mission-aligned. This person will also manage a portfolio of institutional sponsors and collaborate across teams to advance fundraising campaigns, events, and reporting.

As a key member of the Development team, the Manager will help propel Camelback’s goal to raise $20 million over the next three years—fueling the growth and sustainability of underestimated entrepreneurs nationwide.

Director of Programs

Salary range: $130k-150k (based upon experience and skill)

As we expand our impact and deepen support for entrepreneurs, Camelback Ventures is seeking a strategic and visionary Director of Programs to lead the design, direction, and implementation of our founder-centered initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Programs Officer (CPO), the Director will oversee the Camelback Fellowship and a growing suite of programs that equip early- and growth-stage founders with the resources, networks, and support to thrive.

This leader will manage a high-performing team to ensure every phase of founder engagement—from outreach and selection to alumni support—is intentional, data-driven, and values-aligned. The Director will also cultivate partnerships across the entrepreneurial ecosystem, advancing Camelback’s mission to build a more equitable economy by investing in underestimated entrepreneurs.

The Director of Programs will serve as a thought leader within the organization and sector, bringing strategic insight, operational excellence, and creativity to shape the future of Camelback’s programming and founder experience.
