As you’re putting the final details on your plans for the fall, I wanted to invite you to a 1.5 day summit of national influencers, entrepreneurs and investors committed to building an entrepreneurial ecosystem where genius (regardless of race and gender) can find access to the financial and social capital needed for success.
The event is hosted by Camelback Ventures, a non-profit founded by Aaron T. Walker. I believe in their mission, and believe you would not only find value in attending this convening, but enjoy it as well.
Camelback's Fellowship program has supported over 30 entrepreneurs across three investment cohorts. Those cohorts have gone on to raise over $15M in follow-on funding and are slowly changing the face of entrepreneurship.
The next step is to build a powerful community of people that are networked together that can support our most promising untapped entrepreneurs who are too often are people of color and women. That is what we seek to achieve at Ecosystem, an inaugural convening to be held September 28 - 29 in the Bay Area.
I know you have a lot on your plate already. I also know that having you in the room would be critical to the success of movement that we are building through Ecosystem. I hope to see you there.

BE RUTHLESS FOR GOOD
As we know, genius is equally distributed, but access is not. Ecosystem seeks to ensure that untapped communities — especially communities of color — do not just consume the future, but that we invest in our untapped entrepreneurs who are creating it. To create this vision, Ecosystem is a project powered by Camelback Ventures to build the community of people that can bring together their time, talent and treasure to invest in each other.
The theme of the Ecosystem is built around Camelback's mantra and manifesto: the idea of using the intense ruthlessness we see throughout the world, often for destructive personal gain, and utilize that same fearlessness and unapologetic passion to advance a cause bigger than ourselves.
